Bordeaux is the 5th city of France and it hosts the largest number of preserved historical buildings after Paris. The wine industry produces almost 15 billion Euros annually for the area of 750.000 population.
The Romans introduced the wine to Bordeaux in the First Century and since then the area has not stopped producing wine. Vinexpo, the world's first wine fair is hosted in the city of Bordeaux, which is leader in the wine production industry, with 960 million bottles per year.
The Gironde region is very rich in colors and flavors, a sample of the different vineyards that compose the gorgeous nature of the area.
In this very large area, the secret of the character of the wines is the assemblage, the mixture of the variety that makes up for every shape of wine. Usually red wines go with red meat, white aromatic wines pair with seafood, some fish and white meat, while sweet wines go with desserts.
Germany and Italy are Europe's top football trophy collectors. Both have 4 World Championships, and the germans have 3 Euros while the italians have 1. The Mannschaft last Euro win was in 1996 in England against the Czech Republic of Nedved, Barger and Koller, in the era of the golden goal. Italy has not won the Euro in 48 years.
Spain won the Euro in 2008 in Vienna against Germany and the last edition in 2012 in Kiev against Italy.
Both countries have evolved a football revolution. Germany began in 2006 under coaches Jurgen Klinsmann and Joachim Low. Small attacking midfielders were suddenly more important than large central defenders. The attacking scheme was reshaped, sometimes with the classic center forward like Miro Klose or Mario Gomez, sometimes with a false 9 like Mario Goetze or Thomas Mueller. That 10 year revolution has brought a World Cup, two years ago in Brazil against Argentina.
Italy started its own revolution in 2012 under Cesare Prandelli. He found one spot among defensive midfielders for Andrea Pirlo. Now that he has retired to the MLS, coach Antonio Conte fields a singular 3-5-2 where the responsibilities in attack fall on the defensive wingers and apply high pressure on the other team's defensive side with up to 5 players.
This clash is billed as the Final of a mid level Euro 2016 tournament.
